  1. Perez has turned into a pretty good rightfielder.
  2. Tigers may want to stop testing that right fielders arm.
  3. Carp's home run.....you could feel it coming. Turn that frown upside down.
  4. And I think Vierling and Javy spent some time at the hot corner. Maybe they counted them in, who knows? Sportswriters are the sharpest knives in the drawer.
  5. He'll sign for 10 minutes but then Hanifee will take over for him...😅
  6. This was in the Free Press this morning. I would never have guessed 3rd base, I woulda said CF; At third base, the Tigers are betting on Zach McKinstry and Andy Ibáñez, a platoon that has combined for just 12 home runs. It's their weakest offensive position, as Tigers third basemen rank 25th in MLB with a .647 OPS.
  7. And not only did the Tigers play them close, they probably should have won 2 of 3. The Tigers are for real...
  8. It's easier to just put him on an ignore list.
  9. Some games ya just have to tip your hat to a great pitching performance. Sanchez looks like a very strong contender for a Cy Young Award.
  10. Listen for the :15 mark.
  11. Most team can't figure him out. The guy is really good.
  12. If Morton pitches like this against Chicago and Minnesota, he'll be winning a lot of games for us. Good job, Harris!! 😅😅
  13. I sure hope this little league game is over by 7:10. It's only the top of the 6th inning. Not sure how many innings these kids play.
  14. Is this guy going to help the Tiger bullpen?
  15. And they now have a very good closer. They may be a favorite to make it out of the NL to the WS. Playing in Philly sure is tough. Those crowds are kinda rough when they get going.
  16. Getting away from complaining about Will Vest, Scott Harris or the bullpen in general, let's discuss the over and under on Rileys strikeouts today against a really good LH pitcher. Does 2.5 sound about right?
  17. Use him in the 1st inning. That way we have 8 innings to catch up. Lol
  18. No idea. And I stated that I don't think it's actually which inning Vest pitches. It's a matter of him slumping and the really good hitters he faces. I certainly want him and the team to succeed. How can Hinch trust him in a critical 9th inning if he can't get hitters out in the 7th or 8th? But if Twitter "fans" are starting to notice, it must be a real problem. 🤣🤣
  19. Bring back Avila? 🤣🤣
  20. Others are starting to notice. Check out the comments, they blame Hinch.
  21. ESPN showed a stat on Sanchez. His last 10 games? A 1.90 ERA. His last 7 games, a 1.76 ERA.
  22. Just recent stats. His last 4 outings? He's given up multiple hits in early innings of work. His 9th inning appearance was fine. He may not have given up any runs Friday but both his inherited runners scored. But again, it really is the fact he's just struggling right now, no matter which inning. Kinda hard to trust. And I still remember Todd Jones in non-save situations. For some odd reason, he always struggled if the game wasn't on the line. It never made sense.
  23. I say he's struggling right now no matter what inning. Fetter...get to work!
  24. Next time, they'll build a roof ..😅😅
