I's say yes if 75% of pitches thrown come from a RH pitcher. Not sure of the actual percentage. Chat says 75%/25%. I felt the imbalance gave them an edge last year.

I'm all in on Lou and Freehan. I consider Bill the position player MVP of 1968. Denny won but Bill had the most votes of the position players. Mickey brings up a lot of great memories for Tiger fans but he was an average pitcher who pitched a long time. His ERA+ was 104. Led the league in losses twice, wins once. Was consistently ignored in the Cy Young award earning votes in only 2 or 3 seasons. I can't name anyone in the hall who was more mediocre

Pardon my randomness, Both the Cubs and the Tigers have been in the World Series 11 times and they played each other 4 times. There is a decent possibility it could be 12 and 5 this year.

But... what a division. The top 4 teams in the division are on a winning streak. Over the last 5 games for each of the top 4, there was only 1 loss. That's a combined 19-1 record, a .950 winning percentage. The top 3 teams have been playing a combined .800 ball over the last 10 games, going 24 - 6. Here's the weirdest anomaly. Guardians have a -14 run differential and should have a 17-20 record. The Tigers have a +84 differential and per the theory should be 28-11. The Guardians should be 10 games behind but they are only 3.

Wonder if Hinch will use openers on occasion again. Evan an accomplished starter could benefit from going through the top of the order one less time.
