Yeah I don’t want to give him away, but if we can add some legit pitching prospects and shore up 3B or SS by trading him—I’d do it.

Riley doesn’t seem like he has the attitude to do that though. Tork had to because not doing it likely meant his major league career was going to end.

Say what you will about Harris’ deadline, but we do have the #1 ranked farm system. Expecting him to come into Avilas mess and have a #1 farm system and a major league team poised to make a deep playoff run after a decade of being garbage in both areas is a bit aggressive. what he does this offseason should be the mark of if he is a legitimately capable GM
