They changed the run-scoring error to Carpenter, as if that really matters either way. But I guess they reviewed the video again and lip-read him saying, “I didn’t hear you” after they lip-read Riley shouting and shouting for the ball.

I understand that, but when someone tells a lie, i tend to focus on that.
