  1. That's a GREAT slide by Javy.
  2. Okay, it's the 6th inning. Everyone is telling me the Tigers are gonna go off here...
  3. Kirby could go 12 tonight if he had to.
  4. I absolutely would walk.
  5. Another Skubal gem gonna be wasted by this pathetic lineup.
  6. Not if he gets shelled because he's over 110 pitches, he doesn't.
  7. The high just-off-the-plate strike seems to be reserved exclusively for Kirby.
  8. I hope you're right, but I don't think you are.
  9. Skubal gonna be lucky to go six tonight, but it doesn't matter, because we can't get on base.
  10. We're gonna get shut out, aren't we?
  11. I see garbage Baez is back for this game. Awesome.
  12. Not sure why Dingler didn't stand up and point to 2nd.
  13. Skubal not getting the same call on the top corner that Kirby is getting consistently.
  14. 17 pitches through two innings. I don't think we're gonna win if this keeps up.
  15. Jesus, Kirby gonna go an easy 8 tonight at this rate.
  16. Kinda shocked that first pitch to Tork wasn't called a strike after Gleyber's AB.
  17. Ah, I was off by one year. My point still stands, though, that it's rare for QBs to be inducted without a ring. I suspect Rivers will buck the trend, but I think he was universally respected in a way that Goff isn't. Might as well just win a ring and remove all doubt.
  18. I think Rivers was always held in pretty high regard in the league and sports media. I don't think there were the questions about him being among the best in the league that seem to continually surround Goff. But you're right -- Rivers getting in should bode well for Goff.
  19. It's too bad, because as corporate stadium sponsorships go, "Comerica Park" was about as good as it gets.
  20. Marino is still the last QB to make the Hall of Fame without a ring, so I think Goff will need to win one to get in. That's just the price of admission for QBs now.
  21. Of course the offense goes off in the game that I can't watch, lol!
  22. Oh, they wait until they're down 7 in the bottom of the 9th to string some hits together. FOH...
  23. Seattle's bats woke up, and ours didn't. The Tigers are cooked, and have more questions going into the off-season than a team who made the 2nd round of the playoffs ought to have. I hope at least one core player gets moved, if for no other reason than to shake it up and let everyone else know that no one is safe.
  24. I feel like the effing White Sox would be putting up a better fight than this.
