  1. Nine pitches for Kenley to get the second out… and he’s all smiles. He’s not worried one bit. I love this guy.
  2. I still feel fortunate to have been watching the game of the Tigers against the Yankees when Hank Aguirre lofted a ball with the bases loaded and with the infield drawn in because he was the worst hitter in the world, to triple in three runs into the monuments. I could’ve read that but to see it on TV was freaking unreal, historic. As I remember, he loped around the bases because he wasn’t a particularly fast runner, go figure…
  3. Kenley Jansen has entered the building.
  4. 4–2 bottom of the eighth. You know, all it would take for the universe to be in perfect symmetry would be two more runs.
  5. I remember seeing Kaline break his arm in I think 62 or 63. He was having possibly his greatest season ever.
  6. Riley singles come on Tork do it again!
  7. 10 pitch at bat this guy is just freaking great
  8. What’s with the bunting stuff?
  9. And catcher-relief-specialist Jake Rogers nails the runner at second base trying to steal.
  10. I don’t know why I hadn’t noticed this before, but it just jumped out to me that Kevin wears his socks high! And I’m happy to announce that the MLB TV picture and Dan’s radio broadcast are perfectly synced today
  11. All is forgiven! We are World Series bound!
  12. She loves me… She loves me not she loves me… She loves me not… she loves me! Sometimes it works!
  13. Riley doubles! We have a runner in scoring position! What could go wrong?!
  14. Cruising with two outs in the third and Mize gives up a walk, a stolen base and a single makes it 1 – 0 Milwaukee. When they’re not hitting homers, they’re nibbling you to death.
  15. Tork either walks or hits it where they is.
  16. NL rules. On a more positive note the Mets are 7–16 have lost 12 games in a row and average slightly over three runs a game. On the negative side of things, depending on how many games they’ve played against the AL, the winning percentage you just quoted would’ve been even higher.
