This rain really pisses me off. It reminds me of why I moved.
When I moved from the Midwest to Tucson, Arizona in 1974 I went from 75 truly sunny days a year to 300.
The spring and the fall were not gloomy, and while the summer was, admittedly, quite hot, there were no freaking mosquitoes. There were mountains right outside of town and when you drove up to the top, it was 30° cooler.
To be honest, I have never missed the Midwest.
