Once again, another Lions game that I’m not allowed to watch because I’m only allowed to watch “West Coast games” unless I get NFL Sunday ticket which isn’t going to happen. Might get to see a game here and there when the Lions are on one of the three major networks.

I went to a live Globetrotters exhibition in Boise a few years ago with my son. We had courtside seats, and it was extremely entertaining in a way that didn’t make me feel like I was a moron. The little of banana ball that I watched on HBO Max made me feel like a moron, but if I was actually in the stands, the social aspect that any spectacle has might have ended up engaging me.

I found it unwatchable. Let alone for a full game.

This is a general question. I don’t know where to put it so I’ll put it here. HBO Max keeps pushing “banana ball“ to me. Can anyone explain this to me? I tried to watch it, but it seemed to be for people who think baseball is boring and who don’t find a 1-0 extra inning game scintillating.

Yeah, as much as their optimism rubs me the wrong way I do feel bad for the fan base. If it weren’t for the fact that my own fan base is my home, my heart, my sustenance, I would be on their side, but I can’t be.
