I just watched Javy’s catch in center and it’s epic! I hope he’s not so pumped up that he swings at balls 2-feet out of the strike zone on Friday.

Really happy for Olsen today. What a great game, and Friday we start Mize. Looking forward to the return of Meadows and Vierling almost feels greedy.

The Tigers now have the same record as the Yankees 15–10 and the Yankees run differential is only one run better than the Tigers at +31 compared to +30. But our defence has been much better. In 25 games, the Tigers have allowed only 82 runs while the Yankees have allowed 106 in the same number of games.

The guy on the radio giving us the final round up information just said that the games against the Orioles are going to be in Baltimore and that’s simply not true. He was saying the Tigers would be “on the road.” Then he ended the broadcast saying once again the Tigers would be on the road. This Daniella syndrome in announcers is troubling.

A really satisfying game, regardless of loading the bases in the 1st and getting zilch out of it.

That’s me with David Lynch‘s hair. On occasion when I’m out in the wind it actually looks like that, but I don’t take many selfies out in the wind.
