Great tweet today that I read. Ted Turner spent 20 years making it easy for a kid in Montana could watch the Braves. MLB has spent 20 years making it harder for a kid in Atlanta to watch the Braves.

Sad to hear that Pat Caputo passed away.   The S on his shirt stood for "straight down the middle".   RIP.

Try Parkinson's Disease.  The Rust Belt has higher rates and SE Michigan has 10 times the rates as the rest of Michigan.    Manufacturing polution and pesticide use are the main theories.

There's more pesticide use in SE Michigan? I've lived in the south for a while now, and there's a bunch more needed down here. Also, a lot of the anti-pesticide (not all) stuff out there is junk science, so I immediately have some skepticism when I hear them blamed for something.

we use too much 2,4D, but so does everyone. For my money it's a bit insane to plant grass and then put poison on it to stop things that naturally grow in grass from living there (e.g. dandelions). YMMV.
