But as someone who came of age during Iraq, platitudes like "Freedom is Never Free" to in response to deaths in combat is very similar.

And it's chilling to see that the architects of this conflict, one that they didn't even bother to justify to the American public beforehand, are running these platitudes back.

Would somebody on the right please call horse**** on the idea that this had anything to do with freedom for Americans? Or have we really abdicated all critical thinking in the service of fealty to our Weird Leader?

Really the big difference between Massie and the rest is that while Massie has a lot of terrible ideology (despite some areas of agreement with Dems of late), he actually *has* an ideology.

So much of the MAGA movement doesn't have core beliefs. It just believes in the leader. That's it.
