it would be funny if michigan went after one of the people who turned down penn state and they agreed to come...like the guy from byu.  michigan has always had pretty good luck with mormons committing.

They demoted Schlissel for creepy consensual emails. If the Twitter-verse is right, Moore did much more than send creepy emails.

it's not the particular behavior, it's superior/inferior relationship that is the parallel between the cases and that is the bette noir for the institution. Under the ruling social paradigm all relationships are power mediated, we are all weak sisters who can't stand up and tell our bosses to bug off  or have the guts to just quit when we find ourselves working for a jerk. Now just for the sake of being arch I've overstated the critique, there is a lot of potential of abuse in a University, but I'm a lot more concerned about between students and faculty than coaches or admins and staff, particularly at place like UM where it is really easy for staff to change jobs within the system if they find themselve where they don't want to be. And the fact is, life is more complex than simple rules. If my now 30 yr BIL the professor and my graduate studying sister had been at michigan under these rules when they met, he probably would have been fired, she'd have missed her soul mate, and I've have missed a good friend.

1. Jay Harbaugh
2. Jesse Minter
3. Curt Cignetti
4. Kalen DeBour
5. Jedd Fisch
6. Kenny Dillingham
7. John Harbaugh
8. Nick Saban
9. Jon Gruden
10. Biff Poggi (extended interim)

Probably one of these ten.

there's a critique in there about feminism, the legal process we allow to rule our lives, and how changes in the law post 1968 have altered american life...

but i'm too focused on michigan's head coach to make it.

maybe true, but USC is pretty nice billet to leave for anywhere.

He’s is a situation that if he doesn’t make the playoff next season there’s a good chance that he’s either fired or on a very hot seat.   If he bails now he’s getting ahead of it.

No way, with the class he just signed he has at least 2 more seasons. Probably 3.

If they can win right away that will buy him time. You don’t get 3 years to develop a class anymore.  Half of those kids will have moved on for more money somewhere else by then.  This is the new world.  It’s a 1 or 2 year cycle just like JUCO.
