lordstanley Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Jays get a big double play and are 6 outs away. A team that was 1/2 game behind the Tigers with 2 1/2 weeks left in regular season. Jays won 74 games last season. Why do some think it was a foregone conclusion that the Tigers would regress in 2nd half and that we shouldn’t have gotten our hopes yet. Quote
IdahoBert Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I would like a couple more runs to get to six simply for insurance, but also because I think there’s a certain cosmic symmetry to the number six. 1 Quote
Tenacious D Posted November 2 Posted November 2 So many Jays fans here? Did you guys follow baseball in the 80’s? They were our Lex Luthor. The North never forgets. Quote
IdahoBert Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Max Muncy homers (3) on a fly ball to right field. 4-3 Jays Quote

I’ve been to Toronto, not Los Angeles. I don’t know if that’s my rooting interest or not. We stayed right next to ScotiaBank arena, not far from Rogers Centre. I just asked my wife how nuts it must be around there right now. A couple of photos from the airBnB. Quote

casimir Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Oh, this from Toronto Island. I’m going to guess the specialty beach isn’t busy right now. Quote

Tenacious D Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I’m half Canadian, but find myself pulling for the Dodgers. Admittedly, I’m a bit of a Ohtani fanboy. Quote
guy incognito Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Anybody else remember that station in Sarnia that carried Jays games in the ‘90s? I used to listen to them on days the Tigers were off. Quote

lordstanley Posted November 2 Posted November 2 My flight from Toronto to Vancouver took off 15 minutes ago. Wifi works for score updates but not enough for audio or video. Giminez has been at the plate forever though with a man on 2nd and 0 outs, maybe my MLB.com page is stalled. Quote
tiger2022 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Tom Brookens aka Davis Schneider getting a pinch hit AB Quote

tiger2022 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 If the Dodgers can't win this at least they will have Skubal as their ace in 2027. Quote
IdahoBert Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Tied. Miguel Rojas homers (1) on a fly ball to left field. Quote
