chasfh Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Kahnle and Holton should be available for this game; Vest, Hanifee, and Hurter probably won't be. We might get another Maeda sighting if it's later in the game with a three-plus run margin either way. We may also see Bailey Horn. Someone said in another thread that we need Jack Flaherty to go at least seven. That sure would help some. 1 Quote

He had Sunday off but he did throw 22 pitches Saturday. But yeah, he also pitched 3 out of the last 4. Hinch prolly won't use him. Taking 2 of 3 from SD would be huge. That's a real solid ballclub. monkeytargets39 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Carpenter is back in the lineup for tonight That heavy gust of wind that you just felt was the entirety of the fandom no longer holding their breaths 1 Quote

Running a 6 man rotation is a good idea for long stretches without many off days…..until you realize that now Maeda might have to be utilized more…. Quote
SoCalTiger Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Tork still shaky at first. Spoiled nice grab by Jung. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I hate these Kiss Up Interviews. Have they said the words Matt Vierling or Parker Meadows yet? That's the kind of stuff fans really want to know right now. What's the deal? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Who is back next Margot? Then Malloy probably goes down Then when Matty V comes back - who goes? I am not in a hurry for Jake to come back. Nido has been Neato. Now, he'll much likely go back to sucking, but let's ride this. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted April 22 Posted April 22 So if it's Margot in for Malloy, then is it possible that it's Keith that goes down for Matty V? Not as a punishment, mind you, but as a "work on this and that" thing. Worked wonders for Parker last year. Seems to have helped Tork too. Quote

IdahoBert Posted April 22 Posted April 22 It’s a shame to waste what is right now a pretty good start by Flaherty by not scoring any runs, which is a statement of the obvious, but heck score some runs dummies. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted April 23 Posted April 23 It’s unusual but Gameday is a pitch behind Dan’s radio coverage tonight. Quote

IdahoBert Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Slow traffic on the thread tonight. If there’s a party going on somewhere, I want to know. Quote

In the offseason when they were considering FA pitchers, I was hoping they'd sign him but they went with Cobb. But in the TIgers defense, it's April 22nd and Cobb hasn't allowed a hit yet. 1 Quote
