I've been impressed with his stats. Could he help with the bullpen by the start of next season? Take this with a grain of salt but here is the scouting report from TigersMLReport. Seems to be a soft tossing lefty which I am always wary about in the low minors. https://tigersmlreport.com/2025/03/16/micah-ashman-scouting-report-detroit-tigers/ Edited July 23 by LongLiveMaroth 1 Quote
Edman85 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I assume people know you can just go to this page (it works for any of the affiliates) for organizaitonal transactions, so you don't have to rely on engagement farmers like Torkmoil or Emily https://www.milb.com/erie/roster/transactions/detroit-tigers Quote

Yes, I think he's more likely to fall in rank in the future though not as badly as Liranzo and Rainer will rise, perhaps to a top 10 should he retain his arm strength. What luck that he was on the board at 11. Quote

Seems procedural. None of them got in the game yesterday, and I haven't seen any corresponding roster moves to get under the Domestic Reserve limit, which this puts them about 10 over. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Saturday at 05:45 PM Posted Saturday at 05:45 PM The Tigers 2nd round pick from 2024 was pitcher Owen Hall. I see he's on the IL. Anyone know what his injury is? Quote

RatkoVarda Posted Saturday at 05:58 PM Posted Saturday at 05:58 PM Hall, Schiefelbein, Massey and Swanson are all injured 2024 drafted pitchers. I think Hall is shoulder, other 3 are elbows 1 Quote

Sports_Freak Posted Saturday at 08:48 PM Posted Saturday at 08:48 PM Young pitchers having arm/shoulder/elbow injuries are always concerning. Of course, it didn't hold back Skubal. But thru the years, pitchers injuries have ruined many careers. Quote
Edman85 Posted Saturday at 11:38 PM Posted Saturday at 11:38 PM No idea on Schiefelbein. He hasn't even been reported to be on the IL, but has been out since May. He was not on the late May injury report the org put out. Wilson, Dickerson, Swanson, and Massey all had UCL Surgery (might be internal brace or TJ). As mentioned, Hall had stress reaction in his shoulder as of the late May report. He has since been moved to the 60-Day IL. This is the most recent update. There should be another soon. Quote
Tigermojo Posted Sunday at 12:59 AM Posted Sunday at 12:59 AM Clark had a single, double, triple and McGonigal added a homer plus a hit for Erie. 2 Quote
Edman85 Posted Sunday at 01:12 AM Posted Sunday at 01:12 AM Two more promotions to Toledo without corresponding moves, meaning there are likely two more pitchers hurt that haven't been officially logged on the IL. They are four over the roster limit right now, so there are four players unavailable that we don't know about... which is why the Hartlieb's and Jackson's are coming up. 1 Quote
