I know it's not going to be a quick path for him... My comment was more along the lines of: Can he hit the curveball? Can he catch up to speed? Etc... He may not have really faced that in Germany - I don't know - even though he's played against older athletes. But those are the questions for every kid in the minors... so we'll see how he does. That's what I meant with that quote... we'll see, probably starting next year sometime, how he fares against American pitch speeds and breaking balls. If his hit tool and bat-to-ball and bat speed are all showing very high-end... + 1 for the Tigers scouting department! 1 Quote
