Motor City Sonics Posted May 4 Posted May 4 HBP right after a HR and no warning? That's interesting. Though I don't think he was trying to hit him. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Kerry Carpenter homers (8) on a fly ball to center field. Javier Báez scores. Tomás Nido scores. Quote
Evil Roy Slade Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Just now, Motor City Sonics said: I like the no home-run celebration. Save the celebrations for Rocktober It would be OK if it’s spontaneous. The pizza thing last year was pretty contrived. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Man, I needed a great game for the Tigers. It is such a dreary Sunday in Detroit today. Just awful. I overdid my yard work yesterday because I knew this rain was coming. I worked so hard (because it was cool out) that I made myself sick (took too much Kratom too). But hey, the yard looks grea..........well, the yard looks way less crappy today. But today in the D, Bert...........It's that cool dampness that permeates everything. It goes right through you. When does Reese Olson graduate high school? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Talking about the Texas series. HEY, don't snooze on the Rockies. They suck, but it's the kind of thing where you can't figure out how you lost 2 out of 3 to that awful team. Reese, great day. But he's gassed. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 4 Posted May 4 The smattering of people applauding Reese as he came off the field. Made me think of this.......... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Oh my goodness. Fanduel app that I watch through firestick and has a placeholder where they didn't sell commericals COME UP WITH SOME BETTER FREAKING MUSIC. IT'S AWFUL YOU CAN'T FILL WITH PROMOS OR PSAs ? Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Trey Sweeney homers (3) on a fly ball to right field. Colt Keith scores. Javier Báez scores. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Right now, the Tigers are tied with the Cubs for the largest positive run differential in MLB with +62. Quote
Arlington Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I'm pulling for 5 starters with ERAs below 3. Mize and Skubal are there. Reese is 1 scoreless out away. Jackson is 10 scoreless outs out, and Flaherty has a hill to climb - 31 scoreless outs. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Dan says it looks like Tuesday’s game in Denver will be rained out. So the guys will have two days off. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 So is Torres genuinely hurt or did they just bat Ibanez for him just because? Quote
