Don't feel bad, my direct TV is all over the place, it may buffer anywhere between 10sec and a full minute - and that's with a 1 gig incoming line.

I'm not sure i could handle that. My connection with WOW is really stable, just a lag while using the FDS app, which I absolutely hate. Using the Fanduel app on my Roku doesn't allow me to FF or RW. I mean, it will FF but it will immediately jump to live. If I really want control, I have to watch it on my PC. Or my phone but that screen is too small.

With YouTube TV, even when my video is "live", it's 2 or 3 pitches behind. As impatient as I am, I look at MLB at-bat to see what's about to happen. Then I see it happen. It's usually during the last inning of a close game, like a save situation happening. I just can't take the suspense....sports is the original reality TV. 😆

There is a field in YouTubeTV settings for Broadcast Delay.  Make sure that it is turned to decreased.   Thank me later.

I love Mickey, but there’s no way he pitched every pitch with anywhere near the same intensity that pitchers today do. The only other possible reason is that today’s pitchers are far, far weaker than pitchers from fifty and more years ago, and that does not pass any reasonable smell test.

no, and he's said that exact thing many times.

But I don't think Skubal ever had a shot at the complete game even if he hadn't given up the hit - he knew there was a shot so he said he started pushing harder to get there - but you can't do that, which is why he was gased at the end of his outing. If you think you have a shot at a no-hitter if anything you want to try to stay even and let it come to you - especially in this era were just getting to 9 is going to be a huge extra effort.

Yeah, I already checked that. I think it may be the Roku, if I open the app on my phone or PC, it's ahead of the TV.

My brother likes doing that with Lions games, too. I don't like that because then I can talk about the game with people, or follow up on something I see online, because spoilers.

I can stay away from devices or turn off game updates on said devices.  I realize I’m probably the odd duck on this one.
