No, but I just heard the pod guys on Tiger Territory or the Motor City Metrics describe how he had been overused in the last game.

Yeah, he was used pretty heavy in the last 2 games against Boston. 2 ip on Tuesday, 36 pitches  and a 14 pitch Wednesday outing.

I whined about them last year, but they've kind of grown on me since then. I still think Benetti can get too cute at times.

A case could be made that Javy is doing as well as he is because he’s finally happy with where he’s playing. If he’s forced to move to third base, he might become unhappy, and as all of us know now, an unhappy Javy is an unproductive Javy.

Man, Arby’s must be getting their clocks cleaned this year on their Instant 3 Play promotion, where they give free curly fries to everyone who comes in the Arby’s whenever the Tiger score 3 runs. Next year they’re going to have to change it to Instant 4 Play.

He's going to play some short also - Sweeney has only had two days off and the most likely future is that McKinstry will cool down and see his PT drop off more to where it was expected to be. I know Hinch loves him some Andy Ibanez but his spot could be at risk also.

I'm glad I don't have to make that decision, it's why Hinch makes the big $$. My opinion is Javy to 3rd and Meadows in CF. And Dingler our primary catcher, with Jake as backup.
