kdog Posted May 21 Posted May 21 No baserunners since Greene's homer...16 batters retired in a row. Quote

Speculation from people that cover MLB is that he'll get 40 per for 10 years from someone. The only teams I can see giving Skubal ten years under today’s CBA are Dodgers, Yankees, Mets. Skubal is going to be signed after the next CBA, so who knows how or whether the landscape changes. Chances are high he’ll be unemployed through the strike, unless one of the big three takes a flyer on him and the new CBA and signs him that November. Quote
chasfh Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Javy makes the 60% play. Now we have to get runs, plural, because I feel very uneasy about going into the bottom of the ninth tied up or even up only one. Quote

TV deals might be signed by then as well for better or worse. There was a lot of uncertainty this offseason. Quote

Either trading him or letting him walk would be my guess. They may make it known if they offer him a big contract just to let people know they tried to keep him. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Kahnle gives me a Shelby Miller 2024 vibe. And not the good Miller. Quote

chasfh Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Were those guys sitting on the dugout handing those pep girls dollars bills as though they were strippers?? Quote
chasfh Posted May 21 Posted May 21 YES!! Kahnle does the job. This is a pretty big win after last night’s embarrassment. 1 Quote
