lordstanley Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM Yesterday, the Dodgers snapped a 7-game losing streak and the Astros snapped a 4-game losing streak. Today, the Tigers will snap a 3-game losing streak. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 03:52 PM Posted yesterday at 03:52 PM I have become so used to either the excitement of unsurpassable leads coming early in games, or of defiant and unexpected comebacks occurring at the end, that anything outside these extremes seems tepid. These expectations are hard to sustain over a 162 game season of ups and downs, of boredom, and loss. I’m not sure how closely I’ll follow this game given that it’s blacked out on TV for me. Hoping for the best, I’ll probably peek at my phone on occasion and show up on this thread because I’m like the old man in the Monty Python movie who protests being tossed on the plague death cart saying “I’m not dead yet I don’t want to go on the cart. I’m getting better, I want to go for a walk, I feel happy…” Quote

Stay thirsty, my friends. 1 Quote

The Tigers are one of only a few teams who haven't lost 4 in a row all season. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 05:32 PM Posted yesterday at 05:32 PM yes, they’re winning, but not at a very high clip anymore. Thanks to the pitching. Quote
Toddwert Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM Seattle is a great example of winning the regular season doesnt get you a World series trophy 1 Quote
Klondike Posted yesterday at 05:40 PM Posted yesterday at 05:40 PM Have a feelin' Tiger's will crush it today. But they are reelin' with the pitching. I'm glad they built a huge lead and have a long time to try to mend tgings until Play-Off time. Quote

guy incognito Posted yesterday at 05:46 PM Posted yesterday at 05:46 PM Could somebody explain to me why the Mariners’ radio broadcast sounds like they’re at the ballpark while ours sounds like they’re in a studio? Bring up that crowd mic, WXYT! Quote

lordstanley Posted yesterday at 06:03 PM Posted yesterday at 06:03 PM Dingler drives in 2. Keep it going, we might need plenty of runs today. Quote
HugoD Posted yesterday at 06:07 PM Posted yesterday at 06:07 PM Appears both BPs will be reporting early today, unless Jack can get some quick innings. Strike throwing not great on either side. Quote
