"John Smoltz, the Hall of Fame pitcher, had a grandfather, also named John Smoltz, who worked for the Detroit Tigers as part of the grounds crew and in the press box at Tiger Stadium for over 30 years. His grandfather was a big fan of baseball and of his grandson, John. The elder John Smoltz was also known for his generosity with baseball tickets and for carrying around a baseball card of his grandson and handing them out."

”Imagine you are Sherlock Holmes and Moriarity has strapped a belt of explosives around a small child and if it explodes 2/3 of the Detroit Metro area will be destroyed by a neutron bomb.“
