sagnam Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Vikings launch search for new General Manager Love that they went into the draft without a GM and now will hire someone who doesn’t even get to pick players for their first year in charge. What a disaster of an organization. 1 Quote
Jason_R Posted yesterday at 10:29 PM Posted yesterday at 10:29 PM I haven’t said anything yet about this train wreck, but I remember pounding the table for this guy when Fatricia was hired instead. Clearly Fatricia was the wrong guy and his hire was disastrous. And clearly Vrabel is a very good coach. But this guy… this is not my kind of guy. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I feel very bad for her husband and kids. Quote
Jason_R Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago It’s awful. If someone wanted to destroy your faith in journalists and women, they couldn’t develop a better caricature of either. But mostly I’m just glad we have Dan Campbell instead of that guy (and I hope I haven’t jinxed Lions fans by saying this). Quote
Tenacious D Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Neither involved will work in their chosen professions again. Russini flat out lying about it makes her unhirable within any journalistic endeavor. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Is this a fireable offense for either Russini or Vrabel? For Russini, as a journalist, this clearly compromises her journalistic integrity sleeping with a source. So if she is still with The Athletic, I think it is a fireable offense. For Mike Vrabel, it is unfair and hypocritical to say Diana should be fired and he should not. I think he'll probably survive and not get fired, nor have to resign. But I think this clearly compromises his integrity as a coach and his ability to build a culture in the lockeroom. Quote

Not all of them are leaking information about the organization and its plans for roster construction to a reporter that covers the team, while they are sleeping with that reporter. Quote
Jason_R Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Russini is now un hireable as a journalist. The real issue that the NFL needs to address is how Vrabel may have been using his relationship with her to manipulate the free agent market. If this is proven to have happened, he may be terminated andnever coach in the NFL again. Quote
