The good news: Tigers up 8 in the loss column to KC with 24 games to go. A 12-12 record would mean KC would need to go 22-4 for the rest of the season to tie the Tigers.

I’m not sure how to fix this team because they have more problems in run prevention than they do in scoring runs. Perhaps Theodoric of York the medieval barber has the solution:

This guy shut out the Phillies for 8 innings in his last start. He's only given up 2 runs in his last 20 ip. Our best chance is to drive his pitch count up. If I was a betting man, I would take the Mets.

Get a power hitter to hit it to center field at Comerica. It's where home runs go to die. Until a guy hits it 700 freaking feet.
