This is our one “sure bet” this series. Hope they don’t waste it.

Small sample but Perez has been really good the past month, 4 runs total given up his last 4 outings and just 1 his last 3.

Late in the season, we seem to be facing pitchers who have hit their stride and become “unhittable.“ Our pitchers, on the other hand, have become more hittable. I don’t know if this is really the case but it seems like it.

They are talking about the cy young on the broadcast. I guess Clase isn’t a part of the discussion this time. All sorts of noise was made last time about Clase being statistically a more important pitcher, somehow. But Skubal was the unanimous choice by voters anyway.

If we can’t score enough to secure a Skubal win, against the White Sox, we really are in trouble.
