I have seen fans complaining that the Tigers don't have a real chance in the playoffs because of their starters, but here they are with their #2 and #3 starters going and they are putting on a show against a playoff caliber team that was red hot.  That's baseball.  If things go well, they can succeed in the playoffs like any other team.

I was just about to ask: so how do we feel now about the idea that the Tigers are going to get smoked out of the playoffs two straight?

The last 2 games, they've pitched, hit and played defense. All at a championship level. And that's not an exaggeration.
