MichiganCardinal Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 It’s just so hard to beat both a good NFL team and the officiating. Quote
holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Gibbs probably gets 6 if he keeps running upfield... Quote
sagnam Posted October 13 Posted October 13 (edited) I hate the trope about NFL being rigged, but then you see games like this and it’s suddenly not so unbelievable. Flags being thrown well after plays strictly based on the outcome are hard to stomach. Edited October 13 by sagnam Quote

It could've been holding or PI but when you don't throw the flag until after the play when someone starts yelling in your face it becomes obvious that you are just making it up as you go. Quote
number20 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I expected a lot more points by the half against this defense Quote

An ACC official resigned this year after replay came down to review a play late and the ACC office told him he needed to overturn it anyway. If we have rules, they should be followed. The rules say that the seven mf-ers on the field who are paid tens of thousands are solely responsible for that call. That’s how it should be. 1 Quote

I saw an article in Wired magazine a few years ago that gave reasons why officials give home teams calls, not unfairly but subconsciously. It feels good to them having people cheering for them. Just...human nature. 1 Quote

The irony in that call coming from the box is that the box was noticeably silent when the on-field officials clearly screwed us over in Dallas. Quote
holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Defense looks clueless right now. About to be 20-10 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 Piss poor effort out of the half. That’s on Shep. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted October 13 Posted October 13 LOL they wouldn't have reversed that on replay. Quote
number20 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Eeep. Lions absolutely have to answer this with a TD or this could get out of hand. They're not stopping anything Quote
holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Honestly, this is about what I expected going into this game. Lions need a TD on this drive, or they're in danger of being totally BTFO'd. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 Goff can’t check into a ****ing screen on that. He’s one of the best QBs in the game but he needs to be better than that. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Just about everything has gone wrong the past 10 minutes or so of game time. Quote

Nate7474 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Missed blocks 2 plays in a row on the outside killed that drive. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 13 Posted October 13 We make TEs careers. Why can't we cover the TE? Quote
