I remember year round DST when I was a kid. It was the middle of the energy crisis. Parents went apeshit because they had to send their kids to school in the dark in January. I was a kid. I didn’t care, I was already up delivering newspapers around the neighborhood in the dark and on foot by 6:00am. Nobody fretted about me doing that.

4:30?  Where are you?   Is that TRAVERSE city?

In this survey that I just made up, 1/3 of people are for ending DST, 1/3 of people want to keep it, 1/3 of people don’t really care one way or the other, and the final 1/3 don’t have the math skills to understand it.
