I would love a Thomas/ Faulk combo...

What's the cost?

I'm assuming at bare minimum it's Danielson, a 1st or two, and maybe one of MBN/Carter Bear or goalie prospect (not-named Cossa).

Also... I would add a power forward to that. Someone who can take heavier playoff hitting and plow right through that to net front and scoring dirty goals. Or not dirty goals even...

or for trade or free agent targets to want to come to detroit.

Don’t look now, but the Wings have dropped to 7th in the East in points, 4th in the division.

It was fun while it lasted, but they have look overmatched much of the season despite managing to hang in games. They seem destined to peak as one of those playoff bubble teams perennially. I guess that’s better than being dog****.
