Not a big fan of Stewart playing next to Duren. It puts him on the perimeter too much on defense and takes away his best quality, rim protection. So instead of Stewart anchoring the defense you have Duren.

Not super excited to have Ivey back.  In the long run, we definitely have more upside with him.  But hard to mess with the chemistry this team has had this season.

Why would Doc challenge a turnover in the second quarter?

That early you only challenge to add/remove points or to take/add a foul to a key player.

Agreed. Maybe he was trying to stop the Piston momentum? Or hoping to give his team momentum?

The Pistons schedule is just littered with terrible teams.  Looking ahead its hard to find a game where you think Detroit might lose.

Maybe Orlando?  I don't think they are very good, Banchero will still be out when they play them.

Lakers would probably be the next one.  But you never know when LeBron or Luka will rest.

Then Cleveland would be the next game where you think going in Detroit could lose.

Lakers game is December 28th.  Cleveland game is Jan 4th.   That is something like 13 or 14 games before the Lakers game.

When are they losing? 5 game west coast trip and they will be favored in all 5.

I guess as they advance in the tournament, they will face teams not currently on their schedule.  Those could be good teams.  But other than that its a cakewalk of a schedule.

No clue who this guy is.  Only posting it because them looking to move him makes some sense.

Harris makes $26 million this year.  If they let him walk as a free agent, they are still over the cap next year.  So him leaving via free agency doesn't create any cap space.  Trading him for a player on a longer contract is really the only way to continue using his money.

Memphis says "No, we're not trading JJJ."

Utah says "No, we're not trading Markkanen."

Milwaukee says: "OK, we'll do a Myles Turner for Harris trade. We'll need 'this' 'this' and 'this'. "

A) If we can't get JJJ or Markkanen... would we have interest in a Harris for Turner trade?

B) What would that trade look like that both Detroit and the Bucks both say "yes, that works." ... ?

Robinson > Beasley. Shooting is pretty equal but Robinson is better at almost everything else, especially defense.

Yep, most definitely. He might not be as dynamic as Beasley but he's a better overall player.

I doubt Milwaukee would do that.  They cut and stretched Dame to sign Turner.  They have $22 million in dead cap space for 5 years to sign Turner.  No way they are trading him for young guys/picks.  Plus, they don't even have a backup C, they mostly use PF's for the backup C minutes, so they wouldn't move Turner without getting a C back.  The only way they move Turner for prospects/picks is if they also are trading Giannis.

Not sure if you really want Turner anyway.  The shooting is tempting, for sure.  But he looked pretty bad in the playoffs against NYK and OKC I thought.
