I just checked YouTube TV, and our robot overlords are actually going to let me watch this Lions vs. Rams game in Idaho instead of making me watch the 49ers game. I’m going to party like it’s 1957!

The Lions have a great chance to win this game.

The biggest key to victory is to injure Stafford on the first series of the game.

Put in Fulton Reed and Dean Portman at edge rusher for the first series.

The Lions had a few extra days to prepare for this game. But the injuries in the secondary are a huge red flag, especially against Stafford and very good Ram receivers. Even when they're covered, they make great catches. Just too much to overcome. The Rams will cover, something like 27-17. And I hope I'm wrong...

Browns are 3-10 and it’s 4th and inches on your own 40, already down 7-0 and you punt.  This is why they lose all the time. Stefanski, all he does is lose and keep his job.

I know I'm the resident optimist lately but I don't like the Lions odds today. The Rams seem to be a head above the field in a crowded NFC and the Lions haven't shown the ability to do it consistently.

If they can get Stafford into some turnover trouble it will help a lot. But he usually plays at his best against the Lions.

The offensive line will need to be at their best and the defensive line will need to get pressure, or it's probably going to be a 10-point deficit all afternoon.

Scoring first would be very beneficial today.
