He had 10.5 sacks last year and was still a productive pass rusher. He also plays against the run and can be an every down guy, which we know the Lions like that versatility, not just situational pass rushers. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 07:05 PM Posted Monday at 07:05 PM Jordan obviously has a connection to Campbell. I’m still interested what the market for Muhammad is. Quote

sagnam Posted Monday at 07:41 PM Posted Monday at 07:41 PM I think I prefer Dowdle to Dobbins or Allgeier. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 07:50 PM Posted Monday at 07:50 PM Looks like Daniel Bellinger signed with the Titans. I liked him a lot for TE depth. Quote

number20 Posted Monday at 08:33 PM Posted Monday at 08:33 PM Packers just cut loose Jenkins. Likely he lands with the Ravens Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted Monday at 08:45 PM Posted Monday at 08:45 PM I'm hoping they aren't done yet on the OL. Borom is good depth and can play any position on the line (except maybe center). But I don't like the idea of going into the draft pigeon-holed into taking a tackle in the first round. That's how you end up taking 2nd round talents at 17. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 08:56 PM Posted Monday at 08:56 PM Decker is still on the roster. I’m wondering if they patched things up? Quote

Whoever falls to #17 that they love will address one of those needs... And there are just lots of guys who look like they fit what the Lions look for and are worth that spot... A couple guys that are secondary to their top "love" will end up in the early 2nd IMO... Faulk, Mauigoa, Fano, Young, Iheanachor, Freeling, Mesidor, Parker... One or a couple of 'em will be there at #17 and then Holmes will just have to maneuver to pick up his second guy... Moving up from #50 to 35-ish or so... Which I believe they have the 4th and 5th rounders to equal that... should put them in the right spot to grab the other position on a guy that Holmes also "loves". But I'm just guessing. Quote
1984Echoes Posted Monday at 08:58 PM Posted Monday at 08:58 PM Also... everyone here might believe Manu is hot garbage... But DC and Holmes may think otherwise. I have no idea what they think about him... I'm just sayin'. Quote

Players that are football guys, love the game, fit the culture, and won't cost them a lot due to injuries. Jedrick Wills is one guy obviously, as we've talked about him quite a bit here. Alijah Vera-Tucker, former Giants G/T combo is another. When healthy, Vera-Tucker offers the versatility to play guard or tackle and is a quality starter. The trouble is he is rarely healthy and able to play. Quote
