Does this mean James Connor is out in Arizona? If so, Connor would be a perfect fit here.

He reworked his deal earlier. Allgeier is an RB2 just like he would have been here. Not a fan anyway.

Anyone sign Cam Jordan yet?

I haven't seen him sign anywhere. He had 10.5 sacks last year and was still a productive pass rusher. He also plays against the run and can be an every down guy, which we know the Lions like that versatility, not just situational pass rushers.

I'm hoping they aren't done yet on the OL. Borom is good depth and can play any position on the line (except maybe center). But I don't like the idea of going into the draft pigeon-holed into taking a tackle in the first round. That's how you end up taking 2nd round talents at 17.

Edge Rusher and LT are their top two needs...

But... I don't believe they will overreach.

Whoever falls to #17 that they love will address one of those needs... And there are just lots of guys who look like they fit what the Lions look for and are worth that spot... A couple guys that are secondary to their top "love" will end up in the early 2nd IMO... Faulk, Mauigoa, Fano, Young, Iheanachor, Freeling, Mesidor, Parker... One or a couple of 'em will be there at #17 and then Holmes will just have to maneuver to pick up his second guy...

Moving up from #50 to 35-ish or so... Which I believe they have the 4th and 5th rounders to equal that... should put them in the right spot to grab the other position on a guy that Holmes also "loves".

But I'm just guessing.

I too would like to see a tackle signed prior to the draft. There are guys that fit the mold of what Brad and Dan like. Players that are football guys, love the game, fit the culture, and won't cost them a lot due to injuries. Jedrick Wills is one guy obviously, as we've talked about him quite a bit here. Alijah Vera-Tucker, former Giants G/T combo is another. When healthy, Vera-Tucker offers the versatility to play guard or tackle and is a quality starter. The trouble is he is rarely healthy and able to play.
