romad1 Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Looks like the Offensive staff has formed up. The DC is gonna be the guy from BYU. Seeing that Ron Bellamy is out. Coombs is likely retained. This is all Brian at MGOBLOG content. Quote Meanwhile Steve Lorenz says he'd put a Crystal Ball in on OL coach Jim Harding. With Freddie Whittingham coming along that would complete your offensive staff. That staff: OC: Jason Beck RB: Tony Alford WR: Micah Simon TE: Freddie Whittingham OL: Jim Harding Folks are also reporting the Koy Detmer Jr hire. Quote New STs coach Kerry Coombs seems set to be retained, per Henschke and Webb. So the defensive staff as of right now: DC: Jay Hill DL: Lou Esposito LB: Seth Wallace OR Alex Whittingham DB: Jernaro Gilford ST: Kerry Coombs Quote

I kinda thought being first black coach at UM for Football was Sherrone's card to play with some recruits. Apparently the OC is real good at QB whispering. Lets hope that is true. Quote

Just saying, when he was at OSU he was used by Florida RBs to get bigger bags from the Florida schools they wanted to go to. Seems like he learned his lesson from that and isn't going the Florida route anymore. Quote
RedTeamGo! Posted Monday at 04:22 PM Posted Monday at 04:22 PM To be clear, I am not saying Hiter getting a bag is a negative. If you aren't offering a bunch of money to the biggest recruits, what are you even doing? This isn't an amateur sport ever (if it even was since the 70s), it is fully a professional league. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted Tuesday at 10:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:15 PM Would you have preferred another Harbaugh over Whittingham? Quote

This Harbaugh hasn't seen a college sideline in nearly 30 years. Though it would have been very funny to see the NCAA's reaction. I think it's very likely he's hired by another NFL team within two weeks. My money would be on the Giants or Falcons. Quote

Stanley70 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago And if they land their top targets at WR and TE that offense will be loaded. It will be up to the right arm of Bryce Underwood as to how good they can be. Quote
