Deleterious Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Leonard is shooting 98.2% from the free throw line this year. 98.05% is the single season record held by Jose Calderon. Quote
Hongbit Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 (edited) They couldn’t have scripted a worse start. Cade with 0 points and 3 fouls not even 14 minutes into the game. Edited December 29, 2025 by Hongbit Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 It isn't even all bad defense. Leonard just won't miss. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Leonard had made 60 free throws in a row. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Duren just took a jumper that went behind the backboard. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Kawhi gets his 50 piece before the end of the third quarter. Quote
papalawrence Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 When he is healthy and focused Leonard is still a top 5 talent. That game was nuts. Cade scored all 27 of his points in the 2nd half. Hopefully they shoot better vs LAL Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Cade didn't score in the 1st half and is still the leading scorer by 9 points at the end of the game. Not only do the Pistons need a 2nd scorer, they might need a third and fourth as well. Quote
buddha Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 they have one shooter on the whole team. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Teams in the top 10 for 3PT% right now: Milwaukee Atlanta Miami Clippers Bulls So 50% of the top 10 teams are not even in the playoffs right now. A few are playin teams, rest are completely out. Quote

His 3pt% is hovering around 40% and he has the best non-big man eFG on the team after Robinson. The Question is whether he can bring the rest of his game to where he can get the minutes to make a difference. Quote

Just for speculative purposes... And let's call him (traded for guy) a small forward. That would push Duncan to the bench and with him and Ivey and Stew coming in, that might just be a pretty dangerous bench... But we would require Duncan's replacement to have range, otherwise Cade will be suffering greatly with the starting 5... and he would definitely have to be better D than Duncan. (Hence 3&D (need)). casimir Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 I had planned on watching this game tonight, right about now. I found out the score by accident this morning. I guess if I’m going to lose interest on a game by finding out the hard way, this is probably one of the ones that I’m fine to have that happen with. Quote

Unless you want to see Kawhi play a near flawless game. Might be a top 10-20 game I have ever seen Quote
