Small chance this could be a trap game.  After the Bulls, Cade and the Pistons have a big week to make a statement, all on national TV.

Monday - Spurs on Peacock.  The two best players under 25 and teams with two of the three best records in the league.

Wednesday - OKC on ESPN.  The Thunder announced on Wednesday that SGA would be evaluated in a week, so small chance he plays.  Williams won't be evaluated for two weeks, so he is out.

Friday - Cleveland on ESPN.  I'm not as high on Cleveland as most are.  But they have won 7 in a row and 13 of their last 15.

total trap game.

but the bulls are total crap so the pistons should be ok.

they played zero defense before the trade deadline and got even worse afterwards.

who plays less in this game: heurter or ivey?

I think he was going to start getting DNP-CD's in Detroit after the trade deadline.  They were tossing him out there for 10 minutes a night as an attempt to maintain some trade value.

Could be an interesting summer for Ivey.  He will probably get some sort of contract, but it will be small.  $5 million for a  year with a team option, maybe.  Someone will take a chance for that type of deal I think.

The Monday game is also on FDS, according to the schedule in the Free Press. I wonder if that's right or if Peacock has exclusive rights?

I don’t doubt he won’t be able to get back to the athleticism that he had before.  But is he at his new best now or is that still something that is going to take a bit more time for the either the physicality or mentality aspects to still grow into?  And then even if there is a new peak to get to, that’s just the athleticism, that isn’t the basketball specific skill set.

he had knee surgery, then cole anthony broke his leg, and then he had another knee surgery.  unless he's going to make himself into a dead eye shooter, his career might be over.

Well, given the state of the league, he was going to have to improve his overall game in some fashion or another.  He had the quickness and speed that any kind of an outside shot to keep opponents honest and/or defensive capability would have helped him.  It’s a shame neither of those have developed for him.  And now it might be too late.  He’ll probably find a short term deal this offseason, someone will try to develop something out of him.

maybe.  the way things are going, he might need another surgery.  he may retire.
