IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Why does gameday try to get people to vote for “the player of the game” in the seventh inning when the game hasn’t been decided? I wish I could always vote for Brandon Inge just for the hell of it. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Anderson throws a couple of good curve balls for the third out. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Man - Torkelson has been in the AL long enough to know you don't just take off on an overthrow at Target. That bounce back happens all the time. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hurter is not good. I don’t care what numbers you pull up Quote
Tenacious D Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This team is not good (yet). A lot of sloppy play this season. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago only so long a bullpen can live on the ragged edge. Tigers down 4. So how 'bout those Wolverines? Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Where's Holton? Did Hinch use him yesterday? This clown doesn't belong in MLB. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I guess if you can’t say something positive you should say nothing so I won’t say anything about the soul crushing disappointment I’m feeling as this game got away from us. Quote
DTroppens Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The four-pitch walks by the bullpen are beyond maddening right now. 1 Quote
tiger2022 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 1 HR from their regular infield through 10 games. The lack of power from these guys is disturbing. Quote

Congratulations to your Alma Mater. Well done....even as a 1980 Spartan graduate living in California it's nice for my hometown State to rule the day. Now on to next year again 🙃 Quote

I agree and maybe as a team we can graduate from needing to piece together imperfect parts to forming a more standard starting five with a bit less reliance on platooning ? Quote

Really. The platooning thing is what you do when you’re dealing from a position of weakness. And yes, there’s a methodology backed up by data and I respect that and do not intrinsically dispute it, but wouldn’t it be nice to see several McGonigle type players in the lineup that you don’t have to pull again and again for late inning replacements? That’s probably asking for too much but I would still like it. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago And by the way, Skubal is pitching tomorrow at 7:40 EDT. And yes, it will still be cold probably in the 40° range and with windchill feeling colder than that. Quote
