Being at the 1986 home opener and seeing the stadium go from the ultimate high of the first pitch, only to see Dwight Evans hit the first pitch by Jack Morris go over the fence (we were behind home plate) and quiet us down quickly. But I think the Tigers won that game.

Dave Bergman's two home run games against the Blue Jays in 1984 with the Roy Lee Jackson game being the big one.

Watching Disco Demolition at Comiskey Park during a DH with the Tigers. It was supposed to be a single game but became a DH and local TV broadcast the twinbill because they initially were planning on covering the only game on that date. Good thing they did because watching what happened on the field was pretty entertaining.

Attending the last game at Tiger Stadium will always be my favorite Detroit sports history memory, even if the Lions win a Super Bowl.

All great memories. So many games are memorable. The first JV no-hitter..the 2nd JV no-hitter....and about 50 other games....

The most memorable game I have ever been to is the Magglio walkoff in 2006, and a close second is the Saturday 12-inning walkoff the second to the last day of 1987.

Some of the other memorable games I've been to include:

• Shohei pitching a one-hitter in the first game of a doubleheader in 2023
• Henderson Alvarez no-hitter in Miami in 2013
• The ALDS clincher against the Yankees in 2006, in which A-Rod batted eighth!
• Tigers' first-ever regular season game in Wrigley in 2000. (We lost 😢)
• The second-to-last game ever in Tiger Stadium in 1999
• Bobby Higginson three-homer game in 1997
• Tram and Lou's last game together in Baltimore 1995
• Ken Griffey Sr and Ken Griffey Jr playing in the same game 1990
• Cecil Fielder's roof shot in 1990
• Kirk Gibson's roof shot in 1983
• George Brett's three-homer game in 1983
• Hank Aaron's only Tiger Stadium home run in 1975
• My first-ever game in 1972 against the Texas Rangers, a game in which Ted Williams had a duty to perform

i've been thinking about this thread and there are so many games i could list.  i'll just offer a few that stand out to me.  

first, ones i was fortunate to attend

June 1994 -- Lou's grand slam to win the game

September 2003 -- Tigers avoid infamy by beating the twins

October 2006 -- first playoff game at Comerica Park

October 2006 -- Magglio's homer game

October 2012 -- Miggy K's to end the world series

September 2014 -- Tigers clinch the central

i have a practice of going to the last home game of the year whenever possible.  i've seen some cool stuff.  the Tigers clinch, other teams clinch, the Tigers dither away a division

on tv, game 163 from 2009, game 5 of the 2011 division series, and game 5 of the seattle series last year stand out to me.
