papalawrence Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I'll have to miss tomorrow. That darn work thing. Keep it rolling! Quote
romad1 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Watched "Project Hail Mary" during most of the game but finally got home and watched the condensed game replay and Framber was throwing darts. Woof. Good signing. At least the March and April 2026 version so far. Quote

But then I saw the Twins lit him up for 10 Earned Runs in 1.2 innings. Hopefully, we dont get a mad Crochet... And after the Tigers got done with him, his ERA is now 7.88. And I was worried...... But Riley really is still young and not a finished product. I like what i've seen from him so far this season. Is the final result of more walks and fewer strikeouts in exchange for far fewer homers and lower wRC+ acceptable? I ask because that’s what’s happening so far. Quote

I ask because that’s what’s happening so far. Small sample size still. Highs and lows of just a few weeks can't be used to predict future results. Or do we think Tork will end the season with zero home runs? And in a perfect world, Riley will still end up with 20-25 home runs but also end up scoring more runs, with more hits and walks. And yes, runs scored depends on other hitters. With most power hitters, there's a trade off for cutting down on strikeouts and it's usually less power. We'll see.... Quote
