Sports_Freak Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I wonder if Montero will be able to throw strikes? The only effective Tiger pitchers recently have been the lesser BP arms. Any help in Toledo? Vest and Flaherty need to be demoted. Jack really isnt a BP option with his inability to throw strikes or his inability to throw quality strikes. Vest is just dangerously inconsistent. Nibbling the corners and falling behind hitters isnt working for him. It seems like teams have all figured out not to swing at his early count pitches out of the strike zone. Quote
chasfh Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Even with a Tigers win today, looks like this 1940 World Series grudge match goes to the Reds. Quote

As long as the Tigers all take extra long showers and burn all their clothes before leaving that disgusting state. Might want to check them all for ticks, lice and bedbugs too. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Nice to see someone who can pitch out there today Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don’t feel safe with anything less than a six run lead in this ballpark. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Crowder is not a strikeout pitcher, but he just struck out the side in the third inning. That’s about the only safe way to pitch in this ballpark. Quote
motownblues Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago I would say about six more runs should do it. Quote
Tigermojo Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago He was so excited I don’t know if he pointed to the bullpen. Might have to pay the fine. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Gotta admit....Lee's rapid home run trot made me smile. Quote
