Sports_Freak Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Well, the interview of the kid was cool. Better than most booth interviews. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 24 Posted June 24 So I think maybe the Tigers have found a RH PH to take Jones' at bats... Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 25 Posted June 25 (edited) Note to Casey and Tarik. Stop grooving 3-2 pitches. But I'm going to blame Fedder and Hinch a little here. He was clearly winded after the Goldschmidt at bat. And it was especially clear he was laboring at the last AB. At least walk out there and give him a blow. Edited June 25 by gehringer_2 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I’m starting to think that scoring enough runs to win this game is not going to happen… but I’ve been wrong about this so many times that I hope it happens because I’ve seen it happen a lot. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 25 Posted June 25 (edited) Hinch showing a lot of faith in this pitcher to keep it close to give up a chance in the 8th inning. 😁 Edited June 25 by Sports_Freak Quote

IIRR, his pitch count wasn't bad up till that inning. Threw a bunch. He needed a breather and the could use it to make sure all were on the same page going forward. But I don't know the rules today, maybe you can only make so many visits. ADDING: best I could tell Skoob grooved the ones they hit hard. That's on him. But he did throw a bunch of high 90s and even one at 100 from the tv feed I had. That seems like a good thing as far as the wing goes. Not sure for who. Edited June 25 by Screwball Quote
