Just save half of the games they blew and we would be a playoff team. And we are about 9th in the AL in runs scored. Yeah, if we scored 10 runs a game, sure, we would be better. If the offense scores one or two runs and the bullpen "blows" the save, plenty of blame can go to the offense. If the defense fails to catch a ball and the reliever has to throw ten more pitches, plenty of blame can go to the defense. Quote
