I promise you that if X/Twitter were owned by a liberal and their version of Grok was doing this, they would be shut down, their top people would be arrested and put on show trial, and the rest of the liberal social media ecosystem (e.g., Bluesky) would all be sanctioned or worse right along with them. It’s rage against the machine so it’s very appropriate for what went down in MN. Like most of their it’s about enforcing control, patriotic language masking brutality, conditioning the public to accept the feds violence, teaching who the enemy is without questioning. or it could have just been a cool riff Given what I know about the fox producers that make these decisions I expect a heavy Dead presence in the later game. Provided there’s time to do such things given Bobs passing yesterday. Quote

Its funny that my gut instinct is still very conservative in that I reject the older media that had that type of rhetoric even if I totally understand the emotions now. Quote
oblong Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Obviously I understand. We were part of or supportive of “the machine”. That machine has been overtaken by others. But I can also see why I was wrong on some things too. 1 Quote

Tigeraholic1 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago So an NFL game sound loop of a super popular 90’s song is code for the left to rise up? I might just stay up here in the UP until spring. 🙄 Quote

It’s one thing to own the inflammatory nature of the comment he made, which I think he should and, again, I’m totally in support of it. It’s another to deny that what he said was even inflammatory in the first place. It clearly was, and he knows it was. It would be more honest for him to acknowledge its flammable nature while saying that even so, it doesn’t even nearly rise to the level of murdering his citizens, and that the truly heinous post-shooting act here is the equivocation of the two by the regime, or worse, the elevating of his f bomb as being worse than the murder, which is definitely happening. That would be honest, and fair. Quote

That’s actually a pretty good point. It is probably well known in those circles that their most ardent supporters index very high for interest in CSAM, so they may be driving the Grok news story about it to attract degenerate stragglers to X and energize them to their cause. Neo-nazism and CSAM consumption are among the most transgressive behaviors on the planet, so I would guess the Venn between them would be unusually high. 1 Quote

oblong Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago And Good Riddance. (Do they even look at the title of the song?) My best example of that is when Fox ran a Princess Di special after she died and it closed with that song. But maybe they were being clever too. Quote
