9:35pm and we are halfway through the 2nd quarter. I feel like I'm double my age making these complaints, but good grief.

And the thing is there haven't been a ton of incompletions either that stop the clock.

Georgia stomps LSU and we're struggling to pull away from Purdue and put them away. Georgia is on another planet it seems.

Michigan is playing down to its opponent by design. It won them 10/12 games and their actual talent won them the other two. I don't think anything from today will really correlate to how successful (or not) they'll be in January.

I know none of us want to be in another Illinois-type situation scrambling at the end of the game to win. I want to be able to pull away and sit the staters come the 4th quarter. Do what we did to Iowa last year.

I'd prefer an Indiana, Michigan State, or Rutgers honestly. Pull away and make people forget it was ever close.

Last year it felt like they pulled out all their tricks against Ohio State, then pulled out the reserve tricks against Iowa, and were out of gas by the time they played Georgia... Against these opponents where your talent alone can win the game, do what it takes to win and don't show anything you don't have to.

Saban may be correct that they would be favored against other playoff contenders saver for UGA and maybe Michigan but ultimately your resume and what you did THIS year should be what matters most. Bama would be favored because they are arguably the most talented team in the country but they were the most talented team at the start of the year too so if you're just basing it off that then why have them even play at all this season, just put them straight into the playoff.

Also he cites Young being injured on why they may have lost 2 games, while that may have some truth to it, Texas had them dead to rights before their QB got injured, if he didn't go down they could easily have 3 losses.
