Speaking of Harris. Harden was the primary defender on Harris for the most possessions last night at 27. Harris had an EFG% of 83% in those possessions. Pistons need to exploit that matchup even more in game #2.

I think the Epstein thing is far worse for Trump than people believe, and that's even after people have already baked in the idea that he is a serial sexual abuser of minors.

According to Cavs fans. Find refs that don't cheat and Cleveland wins 4-1 -
You’d’ve thought we’d learned our lesson with Bobby Higginson, but nooooooooo …

I’m interested to see what kind of adjustments the Cavs make after game 1. We all know what JB’s will be. Also wondering about the status of Sam Merrill. He can be crucial for them as another shooter that can hit wide open 3’s when the defense crashes to help on whoever cooks Duncan. -
So has Hurter; Vest has been mostly decent despite a few high profile bad outings; and De Jesus is getting crushed by BABIP and LOB bad luck. His stuff is not getting hard and his cutter is bleeding value. Once the luck turns to normal and he gets his cutter back on board, I think we’ll probably be happy with him.

Other leagues have that problem too but baseball has an advantage with their minor league teams. More players to choose from. Baseball teams may sign older players for the minor leagues just for injury protection. Speaking of which, I hope nobody tells Harris the the Marlins just DFA Chris Paddack. 😅

I still think this scene where Rami Malek goes off captures my mood a lot of the time Incidentally, listening to Thomas Rick's Churcill and Orwell (or is it the other way around) audio book and he was going over the Luftwaffe's total lack of strategic vision for the Battle of Britain and it because clear to me that having a substance abuser who was a loyal party man in charge of a battle was a bad idea.

I mean, not many teams are going to beat OKC in the playoffs. Maybe San Antonio but they are so young and inexperienced. I didn't think OKC played all that well last night either. You hold SGA to 18 points you better win. That was the first game this season he failed to score at least 20 points.

Winning game one was great but a couple of things bother me going forward. One is the Cavs turnovers. 20 Cleveland turnovers leading to 31 Detroit points. We had only 12 turnovers, leading to 16 Cavs points We can't count on that many Cleveland turnovers in upcoming games. The other issue is free throw attempts. We had 35 free throws to their 16. Again, we can't count on this going forward. Should this game have even been this close? Cleveland tying the game up late in the 4th quarter was a warning sign that this is going to be a long series. Even if Harden looked like a 50 year old at times. 😆 -
That’s going to be one of the things about the salary cap: if a team’s at the cap and a guy gets hurt, as Skubal just did, they would have no room to maneuver. Same goes for the trade deadline. Capped teams would be stuck, unless they develop some formula to assign cap space value to minor leaguers, maybe based on Pipeline ranks or something. Seems like that kind of thing would have to be baked into a CBA if they wanted to allow a majors-for-minors deadline trade under a cap regime.

135 shots to score 171 points is brutal. You give most NBA players that many shots and they will produce. The worst NBA player is still better than 99.99% of the population. He is 12-43 from three for a scorching 27%. He has 10 assists in 8 games His TS% is 55% which is below league average. A volume chucker is not considered a good player. Like I said, Cleveland is a bad overall team and with a bad defense. His numbers should improve.

I kind of feel like when you suck like McKinstry sucks, does it matter that you suck against both lefties and righties equally? -
Excited to see this one. I am finally able to watch re-runs of No Reservations again. It hurt for long while. Miss me some Tony...

but McKinstry hits lefties slightly better than righties L/R BA .238/.229 OBP .307/.296 OPS .678/.676 And I agree about Colt Keith. He's your second-hottest hitter this year, let him play. Colt is .250 BA vs. Lefties. Not that bad. -
I don't see the Lakers winning a game this series.
