  1. He put up a game like he wants to be the next Piston to be traded.
  2. So Gores should do Pistons fans a favor and make a change.
  3. I think he deserves some credit, too. 24/7/7 at age 39? Sure, training and nutrition are better now than in the past. But he’s putting in the work, too.
  4. For how long? And exactly how good is junior? Will he be forced into more minutes than he should be by senior? Nah, pass. Can’t deny his place in basketball history or what he’s accomplished in his career. But the juice won’t be worth the squeeze at this point.
  5. Let’s just wait and see how Williams handles the rotations, especially once Cunningham is back. By then, Gallinaro and Muscala will have had some time in with the team. What, who am I kidding? Ain’t like rotations mean anything with this roster unless they are playing the Washington Generals.
  6. The more I think about, the more I believe that Weaver is playing chess with marbles.
  7. I see where you're going with PG, but Hayes would jump over Sasser once the next losing streak gets to 20 games.
  8. Yes. Let's not say he's a floor spacer until he vastly improves upon that clanky .313 3PT% he's hoisting up so far this season. That % would be 9th best on Detroit. But its better than Livers' .286, so hey, let's party.
  9. More likely conversation?
  10. I guess the upside is that the rule about not trading away all 1st picks saved the Pistons a bit here.
  11. So the Bagley extension costs them two 2nds.
  12. Oh noes, they traded Livers?!?!
  13. I forgot he was a part of the back and forth Detroit-Houston shuttle.
  14. That’s an interesting point. I don’t remember exactly how baseball and the internet merged. Teams kind of did their own thing when they wanted to before everyone was rolled under the MLB.com umbrella. And given baseball’s reluctance to change with the times and maybe not realizing the potential revenue streams associated with the internet, the establishment at large probably wasn’t into this new fangled thing. But when the evolution started, which teams jumped in when, when MLB.com debuted, that’d be an interesting timeline to see.
  15. The obvious answer to the blizzard is to relocate the Bills to London.
  16. Buddha ordering a round of ice waters like a boss.
  17. This is sarcasm, right?
  18. Hey, maybe it’s not as bad as it seems? There’s only one way to go from here, right?
  19. Just sign him as a 3B.
  20. Wasn’t that the season where the Super Bowl was at the Silverdome?
  21. Yes. But, hey, I’m employed, so it could be worse.
  22. I’m going to guess the game is postponed because of the travel conditions rather than if the stadium has a lid or not. I’m going to guess a lot of indoor destinations in and around Buffalo are going to be closed because folks aren’t going to be able to get to them.
  23. Yes it is. OSU at UoM basketball at noon on big FOX. Pistons lose in Washington at 3pm. Monday would be a damn fun sports day if it weren’t a work day.
  24. And this is it right here. Buffalo is effectively shutting down. If everyday activity is told to stop because the travel conditions are treacherous, why should the NFL be allowed to carry on with all of the travel that this game would incur? Not for nothing, but just a hike up the road is Niagara Falls. I know they’ve frozen up a few times. I’d love to see that up close. Probably not for very long, but it’d be cool to see that.
  25. I think a lot of folks forget/ignore the indirect infrastructure associated with these games and how adverse travels for those folks ain’t worth it. Or maybe he’s simply taken too many shots to the head to consider those folks.
