This has to be completely gut wrenching for die hard fans that have shelled out for season tickets along the way.

I'm not that worried about $30M AAV per se. But specific to bringing in a top tier SP, which Snell is considered to be, the walk rate is too high for my liking. Its been that for a while, and he's gotten away with it due to a lower H/9. Now, OK, it is better to allow a walk than an extra base hit, and that's where he's been able to find success. However, what happens when the velocity ticks down a bit, the movement isn't quite what it was, and the contact becomes more frequent, more solid, more pinpointed onto the barrel of the bat? Ain't gonna be pretty at $30M per. For $30M per, I would want a history of success with a reasonable projection of sustainability. I'm a complete amateur looking at numerals hacktastically. But I kind of question Snell going forward.

Is Canha just a bridge until Bigbie is called up in 2025? Edit: Bridge might be selling Canha short. Maybe the better way to look at it is that the timing might be fortunate with Canha's salary expiring and hopefully Bigbie's recent development is real.

I'm used to that. I actually like the shirt, I think its clever. I've thought about getting a BO KNOWS shirt for myself lately. I told him he needed to look up Bo Jackson and I was going to explain it a bit more, but he had things to tend to. Hopefully he talked this stranger danger event to his parents and they explained to him that (1) Bo Jackson > Bo Bichette and (2) some boomers actually do know stuff.

So, I'm at a junior high school event for my kid last night. A kid walks by with this shirt: I only caught the BO at first. But then I saw it wasn't Bo Jackson.
