It seems odd to me that the B12 might have a sliver of a chance if they pull in the 4 four corner colleges from the P12, at least that theory exists out there. So, yeah, John Law gave up 4 in an inning. The Tigers got the best start that they could have hoped for out of Hutchison. He got pulled when he should have, and the only reason to keep him for a 3rd trip at that point would have been an absolutely decimated relief corps. But the Tigers mustered only 3 runs again. 10 hits, all singles aside from 2 doubles, and 2 walks. Struck out 10 times. The strikeouts are in fashion, but the cool kids also hit for power.

PAC10 commish wasn’t shy about talking down to the Big 12 at the PAC10 junket. I don’t think there will be any kind of deal in place between the two to help each other’s survival.
