  1. Nice weed in the middle of the cement. What kind of establishment are you running over there?
  2. This is your best post ever.
  3. More points for the dark blues, please.
  4. Foley’s got you. No worries.
  5. I’ve been wondering about your driveway lately.
  6. Did you tell him the MTF family said what’s up?
  7. Well, you’ve got to at least admit seeing a rookie on an eight year deal is curious.
  8. His SO rate is better than league average, I do like that. But his BB rate and his H rate are below league average as well.
  9. That last sentence doesn’t seem to be very favorable to Monroe. Or maybe I’m reading it wrong,
  10. Sacre bleu!
  11. Oh, I forgot. It’s ****ty jersey day.
  12. No, but you have to admit, it does look like a curious deal so far.
  13. In an evaluation season. Uh, excuse me, before the evaluation season began.
  14. I remember the theory of Keith and his arm and 3B from before. I've always had that in back of my head. Sure would be nice for to happen and for his bat to perk up, for Jung to grab 2B offensively and defensively, and for Torkelson to recapture his 30 HR form. Now, to go find that easy button....
  15. You need to put a hold on his company credit card.
  16. If he hits the all star break as is, he's certainly closer to 5 years than he is 2-3 years. Good for him to rebound, good for the Tigers to have snagged him this past offseason.
  17. I'm just not sure what's going on in between Detroit and Toledo. Is it really that much easier to have success at AAA and be completely confounded MLB pitching? I mean, we see it with this organization. Is it like that all over the place?
  18. Team Hooper?
  19. I was looking at bbref's this morning. A more optimistic 12.6%.
  20. A 3-9 record over the last dozen dropping them from 31-31 to 34-40. They've been passed over in the wild card and sit behind Boston, Toronto, and Tampa who sit behind Kansas City for the last wild card. Oh, and Houston and Texas are a sneeze behind the Tigers. They host the White Sox and Phillies for 3 each. A 4 bagger on the road against the Angels, and we all know well how the Tigers perform in LA. After that, 3 game visits to the Twins and Reds. Follow that up with 4 games hosting the Guardians and 3 games hosting the Dodgers before the all star break. A 6-6 would have left them behind only Boston (behind Kansas City) and 4 games out of the wild card. But this, this 3-9 that buries them behind more teams and 7 out of the last playoff spot... Pretty demoralizing two weeks. They've got 23 games before the mid season classic. They'll need to go 15-8 in order to be above .500 at the break. That's basically 2 of 3 from here on out.
  21. And that’s kind of an extreme version of how they find themselves only a bit below league average in runs scored per game.
  22. I completely agree. Each are known for the one stat that they dominated and that's kind of a shame.
  23. Freaking rich for one season of work.
  24. Rickey said Rickey was the greatest of all time, so let's go with what Rickey said about Rickey.
