That's outrageous.
My wife has a rare neurological condition that compromises lung function. This has been going on for 2 years, she has been hospitalized about 5 times for several days at a time, and has had a couple of different intravenous therapies, several times each, and the cost of these is tens of thousands of dollars. She is now approved for an experimental therapy that would cost hundreds of thousands. If we lived in the United States, we would have had to sell our house. That's absolutely true, no exaggeration. But, it has not cost us anything, except ten bucks here and there for pharmacy fees. We don't have private insurance, don't need it. I can pay the dentist and the optometrist by myself.
You need to put a stop to this bullshit but here is your problem, the pitchman is Bernie Sanders whose personal brand requires him to present health care as wildly far-left socialist democracy when, in the rest of the civilized world without exception, it is the most centrist position that a politician could adopt. He dooms it to failure all by himself, because his brand is so important.
